Employee and board-member benefits
Open Payroll → Benefits. Choose a person, year and month; annual and quarterly allowances retain their full legal periods.
Start tracking
- Employees appear automatically. Confirm their legal relationship and dates once; add board members from company contacts.
- Set the company’s tracking start date. This describes data coverage, not a new allowance.
- Review Sources, or record other usage manually as confirmed or pending.
Link sources once
Select items, check classification and evidence, then Preview → Confirm. Expenses and current report allocations carry their stored amounts. Open Original document to check evidence in place. Payroll settings suggest an amount; enter the actual benefit and provision evidence once. Draft reports remain drafts.
Already recorded? Attach the source to existing usage. Possible duplicates require review. Changes flag Needs review, invalidate completeness and preserve the original. Cancel a missing source from its link history.
Use the legal date: car compensation follows the month driven, even when paid later. Health/sport permits cash or accrual accounting; apply the company’s chosen basis consistently. A document date does not prove payment.
Read the monitor

| Pending | Recorded commitments, separate from confirmed usage. |
| Partial history | Complete the period, review conditions and attest the viewed snapshot before relying on headroom. |
| Needs facts / no fixed cap | Mileage, pay or travel evidence may be missing; no percentage is invented. |
| Income-tax only | Other payroll taxes may still apply. |
Rules show effective dates, known introduction dates, conditions and official sources. Unverified introduction dates remain marked. Reverse with a reason preserves corrections. Recording does not approve, pay, post or certify tax treatment.
Estonian coverage
The catalogue seeds 19 common categories with historical versions. Related health services share one allowance. Accommodation requires an employment-contract relationship; regional alternatives do not create separate budgets. Childbirth requires per-child/prior-use review. Use the trip calculator for foreign allowances: monthly percentages require verified trip cohorts. Special occupational rules and unverified older periods need separate review.
